"Center for Energy Technologies" LLC has developed a software product "OPTICOM-Electro" which determines the optimal installation locations for switching devices in 6-35 kV overhead power transmission grids.
The software product is a virtual adaptive model of the electrical grid which allows evaluating the effect of the use of different types and composition of switching equipment. The use of "OPTICOM-Electro" helps to increase the reliability, observability and controllability of the electricity grid with significantly lower expenditures on equipment in comparison to ordinary solutions used in Russia.
